A Brief History… Born in Motown to two musically obsessed parents, Caitlin Krisko has had an audio affair with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, The Beatles and Led Zeppelin since childhood. By the age of 14, no longer inspired by suburban sprawl, Caitlin's mother moved her to New York City to allow her creative mind to flourish. Attending the Professional Performing Arts School, Caitlin then continued on to Circle in the Square, a prestigious arts conservatory, where she trained with instructors who have attributed to the careers of Philip Seymor Hoffman, Benicio del Toro, Idina Menzel and Molly Shannon. Completing the program, Caitlin began to embrace her passion for writing music, but was limited because of her inability to play an instrument.

Expressing her undying support, Caitlin’s mother bought her a guitar as a Christmas present. Exactly twelve months later, Caitlin was recording her first album. Joining forces with up and coming multi-instrumentalist producers Chris Cubeta and Jeff Berner of Galuminum Foil Productions, Caitlin spent several months transforming the acoustic songs she’d written into a fully developed EP entitled "The Unintelligible Truth" which was released August 1, 2006.

Recently, Caitlin has had the incredible luck of working with guitar phemon Mitch Mitchell, creating a project titled The Last Great Picture Show. Please check out http://www.myspace.com/thelastgreatpictureshow and make sure to add them as your pals as very exciting events are approaching including performing at the International Belize Music Festival March 22-26, and a charity benefit for The Pinwheel Project (www.thepinwheelproject.org) on April 17th at the Bitter End. :)
